Our Testimonies
Jennifer Cooper's Testimony
I had the pleasure of being raised in a Christian home. Even though I am deaf my Mom always encourged me to do my best. When I was 12 my family was attending Lawler Baptist Church in Dora, Alabama. Under the preaching of CJ Shavers the Lord convicted me of my sin. I went down to the altar and accepted the Lord as my savior and repented of my sins on April 2, 1989. I thank the Lord for that great day. Many deaf that I meet have never been in church and know nothing about Jesus and salvation. My mom always encouraged me to do my best and sing (I sing with a Karoke Machine). I desire to see my people and other blind and special needs people come to know the Lord.
Todd Cooper's Testimony
I had the privilege of being raised in a Christian home. There has never been a time when I wasn't in church. I have never been out in the world. Everyone thought of me as a good kid. However, when I was my family started going to the Bible Baptist Church of Landrum, South Carolina. The Lord started convicting me of my sin under the preaching of Dr. Tommy Turner. I had been putting on a religious show. On September 12, 2000 at 11:00 PM the Holy Ghost came, convicted me, and told me I needed to be saved. I went to my father and he lead me to the Lord. I repented of my sin and asked Christ to come into my heart and life. I haven't been the same since!
